Hope in Action
Empowering lives with compassion, care and connection.
Life can change in an instant, and for many those changes mean facing hardship without warning. In America poverty often means more than a lack of money – it is a lack of basic necessities and the security we all deserve. While starvation may not be visible on the streets, poverty still leads to malnution, health struggles and instability. It can stem from job loss, financial stress, broken relationships, abuse, substance challenges, limited education, or mental health struggles. No one should have to live in poverty, yet too many do.
At Mother and Child Charity, we believe no one should face these challenges alone. With your support we extend a helping hand to individuals, especially those facing additional hardships navigating difficult transitions. Right now, we are focused on three programs to assist people experiencing homelessness: the adult care package, Food essentials programs, and the Share-A-Meal initiative. Our vision is to expand these programs and create more pathways out of hardship and your generosity makes that possible.
You can make a real difference. Contribute through online fundraisers or direct donations to help us deliver essential items, nourishment, and hope. Together, we can restore dignity, comfort, and stability to those who need it most.
